Microsoft hat im August 2021 wesentliche Veränderungen des CSP Lizenzmodells angekündigt. Die geplanten Anpassungen werden nun ab März 2022 in Kraft treten und betreffen das Seat basierte Angebot.

Die wichtigsten Informationen auf einen Blick:

• Etablierung von Jahresabonnements ergänzend zu den bestehenden flexiblen Monatsabonnements
• Preisgarantie über die gewählte Laufzeit des CSP Abonnements
• Flexible monatliche Laufzeiten sind weiterhin möglich, werden aber eine Preiserhöhung von ca. 20% erfahren (gilt nicht für Windows 365)
• Die Richtlinien für Stornierungen werden strenger (neu 72h)
• Interessante Promotionen zum Start von CSP New Commerce Experience

Was bedeutet das für Sie:

• Bestehende Abonnements können gemäss bisheriger Handhabung angepasst werden bis spätestens Ende Juni 2022
• Ab März 2022 müssen neue Abonnements nach Eigenschaften des NCE Modells gelöst werden. Die jeweiligen Laufzeiten sind bindend.
• Zusätzliche Seats können jederzeit gelöst werden
• Verfügbare Promotionen können den frühzeitigen Umstieg attraktiv machen

Wir werden unsere Vertragswerke mit einem Addendum erweitern, um den neuen Rahmenbedingungen seitens Microsofts gerecht zu werden.

CSP New Commerce Experience (NCE) – Changes within the Microsoft CSP Licensing Model

 

Microsoft announced significant changes to the CSP licensing model in August 2021. The planned adjustments will become effective starting March 2022 now and will affect the seat based offering.

Here is the most important information at a glance:

• Establishment of annual subscriptions in addition to the existing flexible monthly subscriptions
• Price guarantee over the chosen term of the CSP subscription
• Flexible monthly terms will still be available, but will see a price increase of approximately 20% (does not apply to Windows 365)
• Cancellation policy will be stricter (now 72h)
• Interesting promotions for the launch of CSP New Commerce Experience.

What this means for you:

• Existing subscriptions can be adjusted according to previous handling until the end of June 2022 at the latest
• From March 2022, new subscriptions must be resolved according to features of the NCE model. The respective terms are binding.
• Additional seats can be solved at any time
• Available promotions can make the early switch attractive

We will extend our contracts with an addendum in order to meet the new conditions on the part of Microsoft.
